If Madchester and '90s flavoured Britpop rock ya boat, then super-glue your ears to the speaker stack and turn the volume to 11; Shiva and the Hazards are ready to drop the music video for their newest single 'Revolution Son'.
Produced by the group themselves and mixed by Ride frontman Mark Gardener (who the band toured Australia with in 2019), 'Revolution Son' is the first taste from their debut album, expected in 2021, and their follow up from last year's single, 'Angkor Wat'. "The bass sound Mark was able to get simply blew us away when we first heard it," the band says.
"It was pretty heavy when we recorded it, but the finished product was next level."
scenestr is primed to premiere the music video for 'Revolution Son' today. Enjoy.
It only takes one listen to hear why Shiva and the Hazards are compared to the likes of The Stone Roses, Verve and Australia's own DMA'S, and 'Revolution Son' only enhances that reputation.
