Sydney synthpop, alternative R&B act She's My Return are about to release the accompanying video clip to their recent single, 'Gross', and scenestr has the inside lane to premiere it.
"The music video for 'Gross' highlights the unconscious transformation that many people undertake when they move from a rural part of the world into a bigger city," singer Toby Anagnostis says.
"It's not hard to get swept up in the wealth-infused whirlwind that keep the city's clogs turning at pace. It's almost as though the city sucks in unsuspecting humans and spits out manikin-like shells.
"Gabriel Morrison, the director, and I grew up together in Tassie and only recently moved to Sydney, so it's something that we have both had to grow accustomed to."
