A super-chilled, guitar-driven indie pop ear worm that you'll be playing on high rotation all summer, SA.MAY has dropped a music video for her newest single 'Something'.
The singer-songwriter and producer from Sydney's Northern Beaches, 'Something' finds SA.MAY exploring all the amazing feels associated with the start of a new relationship that's beginning to bloom."It's the start of a new era in my life, which is why I think it's perfect to release in the New Year," SA.MAY says of 'Something'.
Given current lockdown issues, when it came to film a music clip for 'Something', SA.MAY relied on her iPhone to record using the Northern Beaches as a backdrop.
"Inspired by James Bond and vintage movies, I wanted to create that vintage vibe," she says.
"This video is all about exploring new places; for me it's when you start a new relationship. I wanted to show the process from recording it in a studio to performing it on the beach while in lockdown on the Northern Beaches."
scenestr is stoked to premiere the 'Something' music video today. Enjoy.
