When it comes to local blues/ roots/ rock performers, Australia doesn't produce them any better than Owen Campbell.
First coming to the attention of the nation after a memorable appearance on 'Australia's Got Talent' in 2012, the travelling troubadour is about to head out on another run of live dates around our big, burnt land (dates below) to promote his latest song, 'Rise'.

A more introspective piece, it's a song about accepting defeat and moving on regardless and was filmed in the North Territory where Owen recently worked with the Bininj mob recording indigenous music. "We're all so afraid of death and change... but sometimes it's what is needed, like the shedding of skin," Owen says.
