Premiere: Watch Kathleen Halloran's New Music Video 'Find Me Again'

Kathleen Halloran

A rising star, indie artist Kathleen Halloran continues on her solo path with the release of her sophomore single, the cracking-good 'Find Me Again'.

A relatively unknown name to the general public, yet a widely-respected guitar slinger within the music industry, Kathleen has honed her craft across a decade-plus as lead guitarist for the likes of Kate Ceberano, Katie Noonan and Felix Riebl (The Cat Empire), having also shared the stage with Jon Stevens, Mahalia Barnes, Ricki-Lee and Tania Doko.

After releasing her outstanding debut single 'Free With Me' in late 2024, 'Find Me Again' marks a deeper, darker evolution in Halloran's artistic vision, guiding listeners through an intensifying psychedelic landscape powered by her signature guitar prowess.

Smoky, hearty, psych-laced, soulful alt. country, indie rock brimming with spirit, 'Find Me Again' is moody and dark yet utterly captivating, especially when the strings enter the equation, the song's momentum building to an unbridled intensity that sucks you into its vortex of hazy yet ballsy alternative rock that zings with a fiery passion.

Halloran's vocals are also pertinent to the song's mood, equal parts feminine, bold and free-spirited. It's an intoxicating blend that draws you in equally as the masterful instrumentation on display.

"This song is a promise to myself," Halloran explains. "It's about recognising when you've lost a piece of who you are and committing to find your way back."

Ahead of the song's release tomorrow (28 March), today scenestr is stoked to premiere the music video for 'Find Me Again' today. Enjoy.

The clip was filmed at Halloran's cherished St Kilda café, Sorci E Morsi, the same intimate space where she filmed visuals for her debut video – and captures the magnetic energy and technical precision that have become hallmarks of her performances, showcasing an artist equally compelling in recorded and live settings.

The song also sees her partner again with producer Ross Irwin (The Cat Empire, The Bamboos) and engineer Ben Edgar (Gotye, Angus & Julia Stone).

In June and July, Kathleen will open for Kate Ceberano's extensive regional tour before taking to the stage to play guitar with Kate.

"Heart is happy to be supporting my best friend Kate Ceberano on her massive Australian Made tour this June-July. I'll be doing the opening support set each night before getting to join Kate onstage along with the super talented Harts, and help bring her incredible visions and dreams to life."
