Premiere: Watch Kane Vincent's New Music Video 'When You Comin' Home?'

Kane Vincent is an Australian folk-pop singer-songwriter.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

After playing guitar as a hobby for 25 years, in 2017 Kane Vincent decided to focus on music full-time giving up his 'day' job in the process.

Originally a covers act, winning the Bruthen Blues and Arts Festival's Jam Night in 2019 spurred Kane to pursue his own originals that has resulted in a series of songs built on folk-pop sensibilities with a soulful edge, with strong hints of country and blues as well.

Vincent's current single is 'When You Comin' Home?', a jaunty little ditty about missing the significant other in your life.

"'When You Comin' Home?' is an upbeat and cheeky nod to those moments missing your partner who is away for work," Kane says.

The track features on Vincent's second EP 'Minute To Midnight', which is released this Friday (24 June).

"This EP is the product of understanding that collaboration and sharing has encouraged growth and direction in me as an artist," Kane says.

"The EP is bold and celebrates connection through storytelling; in sharing moments with others that we can grow and be our best."

With 'When You Comin' Home?' already released as a single, scenestr is stoked to premiere the song's music video today. Enjoy.

"Filmed on a blistering hot day in February with good friends making up the band and crew," begins Kane, "the idea was to make up for the lack of filmmakers, musicians and actors by just having a bloody great time, which we did and hope that shows in the video."
