With her rebellious charm and rampaging energy Australian country-rock singer Jayne Denham writes, records and performs with a unique ability to tell a story that reels you in.
Jayne is back with a new music video for her hit single 'Black Coffee And White Lines', from her 2018 album 'Calamity'; it stars a trio of reality stars from History Channel's hit television series 'Ice Road Truckers'.The video, directed by Jay Seeney, was shot on location in Anchorage (Alaska) and Glacier Mountain (Alaska). Jayne enlisted the help of a few friends: Lisa Kelly, Carey Hall, and Maya Sieber-Pyskaty.
"Thirteen years ago I wrote a song about a girl who drove a truck from Tamworth, NSW, never knowing it would lead to me filming a video clip in Alaska with three of the 'Ice Road Truckers'," Jayne says.
"We wrote this song to celebrate the life of a driver and the love of the road, so I hope this song and music video reminds you as we approach Christmas, that we would not have any food on our tables or presents under the trees without them. They truly are the heart beat of our country."
Be one of the first to watch the 'Black Coffee And White Lines' music video.
"Filming in Alaska with three of the 'Ice Road Truckers' was totally beyond my wildest dreams," Jayne continues. "We had way too much fun and now have wonderful memories to treasure.
"I am really proud of this music video and what director Jay Seeney has captured on film. It is everything I wanted to share about the reality of truckin' and the love of it."
'Ice Road Trucker' and co-star Carey Hall was excited to be a part of the video. "When Jayne first asked me to be in the music video for 'Black Coffee And White Lines I was really excited. We had so much fun shooting the video."
