Premiere: Watch Jack Bratt's New Music Video 'Body Language'

Jack Bratt's newest single is titled 'Body Language'.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

2019 Grant McLennan Fellowship winner, Jack Bratt returns with another serving of lush harmonies and soulful guitar that also sees him add flourishes of rock-pop inspired by the likes of James Blake and Frank Ocean.

"'Body Language' is a big step forward into a new musical direction for me," Jack says of his first single of 2021.

"It's really exciting to get out of my comfort zone and embrace a change I've been wanting to make for some time."

After playing in a number of bands including Blonde On Blonde and Golden Age Of Ballooning (that saw him play alongside such iconic names as Tame Impala, Wolfmother, INXS, Ace Frehley and Violent Soho), Jack got busy with his own solo music that culminated with him entering and ultimately winning the Grant McLennan Fellowship in December 2019.

Despite the COVID-related issues of 2020, Jack managed to release a trio of singles last year including his debut song 'Spades' as he continues to develop and refine his own sound.

The music video for 'Body Language' was directed by Bradley Murnane and features Jade Brider and Kristian Santic dancing in a carpark rooftop.

"Just wrapped an amazing day shooting the 'Body Language' video clip," Jack recently posted to Facebook. "Thank you so much to the amazing humans that are @kristiansantic and @jadebriderperformer for your amazing work.

"And of course to mastermind @bradleymurnane for directing. Can't wait to share this one with you all."

The wait is now over with scenestr amped to premiere Jack's 'Body Language' music video clip today. Enjoy.
