Flickertail, the four-headed Irish-Australian outfit hailing from Sydney’s Inner West, will release their newest video for current single 'Talk' tomorrow, but give scenestr the heads-up to premiere it today. Thanks lads.
'Talk' is the first track lifted from Flickertail's (formerly The Bitter Sweethearts) forthcoming EP, 'Hurry Up And Wait', slated for release in early 2018; the band have shows scheduled for Sydney, Canberra, Bendigo and Dubbo.
"Nobody - except possibly The Darkness - ever wrote a great tune about a healthy relationship," Flickertail's singer/ guitarist Liam Whelan says.
"I don’t write anything other than great tunes, so 'Talk' jumps into that whole canon of dysfunctional love songs with both feet, like an obnoxious teenager cannonballing into the local kiddie pool.

"You know how some people like toying with other people? The idea with this video was to have actual toys playing love games with each other. This is easily Barbie’s best work since 'Toy Story 2'. We’ve not seen her do drama before, and it’s great seeing her really explore her range as an actor."
