Tasmanian singer-songwriter Emma Anglesey's newest track is titled 'Swells My Heart', which will be released officially on 15 June.
'Swells My Heart' is meditative, in a way: the steady, assured vocals weave among balanced, acoustic guitar while gentle percussion perculates underneath.
The song features on Emma's full-length album, 'Some Things Can Not Be Undone', out 29 June.
The clip for 'Swells My Heart' is suitably compelling, which scenestr premieres today. Filmed by Scott Atkins in one, continuous shot, Emma sits regally alongside dancer Gabriel Comerford, as he writhes and moves as the track develops.
"It's been an ambition of mine for a while to shoot an entire clip in one, single shot - I love these videos - and I'm so excited to have made one," Emma says.
"The paintings of the Renaissance revered irrational moments fuelled by passion; the fall in Eden and the serpent, the triumph of Judith over the armies of Kings, the beauty that overthrew David in the moonlight. The video clip takes inspiration from the artwork of this era."
