Songwriter, producer, composer, video director, graphic artist and contemporary dancer, Eden Mulholland is back with his third single in 2018, 'The Vanishing' - a glorious nugget of indie-rock goodness featuring crunchy riffs and universal lyrics for disaffected souls.
Released last week, Eden has today shared with scenestr an exclusive premiere of 'The Vanishing's accompanying video that features a dancer moving through urban environments.
"'The Vanishing' is a much less serious song for me than normal I think," Eden says, "subconsciously inspired by my adolescent, Soundgarden-loving self I suppose.
"A love song for the disaffected soul, it's a really fun song to sing at the top of your lungs."
Filmed on location in Melbourne, the video features the dancing skills of filmmaker Jacob Edmonds.
"We wanted to match the video to the feel of the song by shooting these dreamlike dance sequences around locations in Melbourne - places that looked commercial, but had a realistic tone," Jacob says
"The movement was crafted from the aggression of the guitar and the clear focus of the dynamics within the rhythm."
You can catch Eden at one of the upcoming shows in Perth/ Fremantle this weekend.
