Ahead of an Australian tour that kicks off tomorrow (14 September) to promote the release of their new EP, 'Silver Linings', Caravana Sun will release a video clip to recent single 'Come Back', which scenestr is honoured to premiere today.
Filmed in multiple locations – Rabat in Malta, Byron Bay and Wollongong – the clip is a beautiful ode to their dear friend, Jae Haydon, who died surfing in Indonesia earlier this year.
"'Come Back' is a heartfelt, honest and raw take on the loss of a loved one," Caravana Sun's Ant Beard says.
"To fill the space that nobody could replace, the song was inspired when fellow musician and good friend of the band Jae Haydon, lost his life in the ocean, surfing the reefs of Indonesia. This song is dedicated to Jae, but also a song for his family and everybody who had the great fortune to know him.
"The video footage was collected over three locations. The beautiful ocean shots were captured during Jae's paddle out ceremony in Woonona, NSW. The winding streets and moonlit bay footage came from Rabat, Malta and the acoustic rainforest moments were shot amid the melaleuca trees of Byron Bay."
