The new indie-folk pairing of Melbourne’s Hannah Cameron and Canadian-born Brian Campeau, Brain Romance offer a delicate brand of hauntingly acoustic folk that will soothe the soul if you let it in.
Their debut offering is 'Honest Words', where the two musicians profess their desire to share music with each other via the power of heavenly harmonies and gentle strings.
In addition to writing music and lyrics, the duo took to self-producing and mixing the track before it was mastered by Lachlan Carrick. The accompanying video for 'Honest Words' was shot by Melbourne creative group Shoelace Sessions, capturing the duo live in the warmth of Campeau’s kitchen.

"We did this video in one take with Ty from Shoelace Sessions in my kitchen," Brain Romance says.
"We thought the lighting in the room was really lovely and would suit the mood of the song really well. Turns out we were right.
"It took a couple of tries but in the end we got it right, and we're pretty happy with the look."
