With a rhythm section grooving along like it's the '80s, crunchy guitars and glam-rock styled vocals that woo the ears promising rockin' times, Starcrazy's newest single 'The Big Time' features immense production.
Add a massive rock-out mid song that's brought together by a scorching guitar solo and a string of "la la las" and Starcrazy have landed themselves an instant live favourite destined for crowd sing-alongs."We were still a fairly new band when we put this song together," frontman Marcus Fraser says of 'The Big Time', which they recorded at Damien Gerard Studios on the Central Coast.
"Odin had an infectious groove of a riff he'd been tinkering with that developed into a structured instrumental piece of music.
"All that was left was to write the lyrics, which I did while mowing Henson Park Oval in Marrickville – a tedious job that took the better part of a day, going back and forth on a ride-on mower.
"I used to write lyrics this way just to keep myself sane."
Ahead of the song's release on Friday (1 April), scenestr is amped to premiere 'The Big Time' today. Enjoy.
