Sydney born and raised singer-songwriter Seryna Jane has spent the past 12 years gigging around the Harbour City.
Her music career began when her Year 6 teacher not so kindly suggested in class one day: "Whoever is singing, stop or get lessons!" So she did.
'Haunt Me' is Seryna Jane's debut single from her EP 'August Calling'. She releases the single tomorrow (17 November).
But she has given scenestr a sneak peek allowing us to share with you the digital stream of 'Haunt Me'.
"For me, writing music is about letting go," Seryna says.
"It's a release of all those thoughts and emotions that otherwise just stay bottled up inside. 'Haunt Me' is about past lovers who have a hold on you and play on your mind and mess with your heart. And man that's a frustrating, even sickening, feeling!
"So writing this song was very much a way for me to try and let that frustration go. I also find it a little comforting when people can relate to songs I write because it makes me feel like I'm not the only crazy one out there, haha."
