An in-demand R&B, hip hop DJ – both locally and abroad – Melbourne's R-CUE has turned his 2020 misfortune into a string of new releases, the latest being 'Feel It'.
A collaboration with Adrian Swish and JaRay, 'Feel It' features smooth R&B stylings, with bouncey, shimmery electro-reggae production – it's like summer in a cocktail glass."'Feel It' was a project that originally started with JaRay. It was the first track that we did together," R-CUE says.
"I was looking for the perfect voice to make the rest of the track come together. I had previously worked with Adrian and asked him if he wanted to give the track a go.
"He absolutely killed it with the verses, we made some small alterations as we wanted to keep the track simple, something that you feel like listening to.
"It is the perfect R&B track for summer," R-CUE adds. "It has all the summer vibes with a touch of reggae that sparks that dancing feeling when you listen to it."

R-CUE's previous 2020 releases include the thirsty-af 'Take You Down', modern urban, hip hop swag on 'She Bad She Know' and the electro booty-shakin' appeal of 'Give It To Me'. "This year started with a big tour," R-CUE says.
"I performed in eight countries, including some of DJ Mags Top 100 biggest clubs in the world. Part two of the tour got cancelled due to the pandemic.
"At first this was devastating news, but I decided to put my energy and time while at home into trying to be creative.
"The time allowed ideas to come to mind and I began to focus my energy on production and music marketing. I invested time especially for things that I previously never had the time to do and I am so thankful for it.
"I am so keen for the time when clubs are reopened and I can include my tracks in my set. It'll be an amazing feeling to share with everyone, it's going to be a moment money can't buy."
