The rural NSW duo of Wink Fleming and William Scholes aka Nate Scholes mine a rich canon of folky textures and rustic, indie rootsy vibes.
Tomorrow (14 November), they release their debut EP 'Feels Like Ages'. "As a lot of you know, it has taken Scholsey and me a fair amount of time (two years) to put together a few songs and get them to you," Wink says.
"Our EP, 'Feels Like Ages' – appropriately titled for this reason, where growth and time are the undercutting themes that unanimously link all five songs together – collectively reflects on the the realms of sincerity and devastation of human interaction and the growth of the individual that results of such.
"The progression of songs throughout the EP pinpoints individual experiences which fit into the larger narrative that the EP explores.
"The first two singles, 'When I Walk' and 'The Fear', have set the stage for the following three tracks to follow, 'For Want', 'Watch You Go', and 'Awake'," Wink adds.
Ahead of the EP's release tomorrow, Nate Scholes have shared with scenestr an exclusive stream of 'Feels Like Ages'. So take control of the office sound system or pump the stereo to 11 if you're at home and soak in the aural goodness Nate Scholes provide.
