With more than 1.4 million streams on his last single ('Astronaut In The Ocean'), Sydney emcee Masked Wolf returns with a new jam 'Evil On The Inside' – a collaboration with Ghana-born, Brisbane-based hip hop artist iiiConic.
"Evil is about how we can be blinded by the looks and we focus on the outside and from that do not see what the inside shows," Masked Wolf says, discussing the themes explored on 'Evil On The Inside'.
"It relates to how we can sometimes be used and abused for what we have and not seen for who we are."
Masked Wolf, who first started putting pen to paper aged 13, found his urge to get in front of a microphone and spread his sound after listening, first as young kid, to Eminem and 50 Cent before his musical influences grew to include Kevin Gates, Drake and Hopsin.
"Working with iiiConic was a must on this," continues Masked Wolf, "he has that Ty Dolla $ign style about him, and I definitely wanted to have someone else express their thoughts on what evil on the inside meant to them, so he was a perfect fit.
"On production is once again platinum-selling producer Tyron Hapi."
