Since making her debut mid 2021 with the song 'I Didn't Realise', Melbourne singer-songwriter Karen Harding has released a string of singles.
Last October, Karen dropped the four-track EP 'I've Got A Secret'; so far in 2023, she's only released one song: 'Devil In The Mirror'.A genre-hopper who creates from a varied sonic palette: dark-pop to ethereal pop and world music-flavoured folk, even alt-rock tones seep in, Karen's vocals also add a diversity to her compositions evoking rich emotions with relatable lyrics.
So far in her short career, Karen has collaborated with Argentinian P&M Records, the Cologne Chamber Orchestra, Canadian producer Landao, and Melbourne hip hop artist Serif.
Her next single is the hypnotically wavy, mesmerisingly serene, uptempo folky-electropop number 'Insane For A Moment'.
A combination of pulsating tribal beats, atmospheric harmonies, and those powerfully deep vocals that resonate to the core, 'Insane For A Moment' 'delves deep into the inner workings of the mind during moments of insecurity'.

"Creating 'Insane For A Moment' was an experience that just flowed," begins Karen. "It was like embarking on an adventure where I got to explore a whole new side of my songwriting.
"This track is unlike anything I've released before, bringing a fresh and upbeat experimental pop vibe to the table.
"I wanted to capture the heart and soul of those fleeting moments of insecurity we all experience. Those times when you're torn between wanting to charge ahead and conquer your fears, but there's this nagging voice that pulls you back.
"It's like a roller-coaster ride of emotions, and I wanted to put all of that into words and melodies."
The winner of the 2021 Bendigo Bank sponsored Radio Eastern songwriter talent show, Karen continues to explore her artistry, constantly delving into new territory to fully realise her creative vision.
"My journey from slower, acoustic styles to the lively pop sound of 'Insane For A Moment' has been an incredible evolution for me as an artist," shares Karen.
"It's like stepping into a whole new world of possibilities. Through self-production and recording, I had the freedom to explore different sonic landscapes and experiment with unconventional techniques.
"It was an exciting process of discovery, uncovering the blend of rhythmic beats and haunting harmonies that define the song.
"This evolution reflects my growth as an artist and my passion for constantly pushing the boundaries of my creativity."
