While they haven't been around long, Wollongong indie rockers GOSH are quickly build a solid rep for quality indie rock soaked in gorgeous pop.
After the release of their debut single, 'Honestly', in March GOSH are back with new track 'Isle Of Pines', which they'll release 5 June. But scenestr has the drop with the band sharing the song with us to premiere today. Bonus.
Think breezy indie rock with a hint of dirty pop that will have you swaying with noodling guitar riffs reminiscent of late '90s, early '00s rock and crystal-clear vocals that will have your feet tapping in gleeful unison. Hand me a beer Stella, it's time to cruise.
"The song just about wrote itself," the band admit. "It just kind of happened!
"There's a definite feeling of 'less is more' with this one and without mentioning it to each other, I think we all just kind of felt it.
"It's the changes in instrumentation between each section, rather than the sections themselves that keep this one lively and charming.
"Don't be fooled, the song goes places and is far from boring. But I think there's quite a craft involved in keeping something simple –it's almost daring."
'Isle Of Pines' will be released 5 June with the band's debut EP scheduled to drop later in the year.
