Brisbane-based songwriter Hannah Ana has collaborated with Toronto producer on the track 'Infinity'.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

In today's digital world where artists can collaborate with others despite vast distances that may separate them, Canadian-Australian singer-songwriter Hannah Ana (Brisbane) and Canadian producer Crimsen (Toronto) highlight the advantages of the modern, global village.

Hannah and Crimsen first crossed paths eight years ago when both were living in Toronto. When Hannah moved to Brisbane, they continued to stay in contact via social media.

A member of the I Heart Songwriting Club, Hannah approached Crimsen to collaborate on a track and that's how 'Infinity', a tech-house earworm, was born.

Hannah recorded the vocals in Brisbane, while Crimsen produced and mixed the track in Toronto. "'Infinity' is a feel-good track you can dance to," Hannah says.

"It's about overcoming challenges and letting go of everything that's holding us back mentally and emotionally.

"It's about coming out the other side with courage and hope that the future is bright and full of infinite possibility."

Ahead of the song's commercial release on Monday (21 January), scenestr is amped to share an exclusive stream of 'Infinity' today.

"We want people to feel inspired, like they can accomplish anything they set their minds to," adds Crimsen.

To complete the 'global' collaboration, 'Infinity' is being released by Greek label Maniana Records proving you don't need to be in the same city to create music with a universal message.
