A singing teacher by day, Melbourne pop singer-songwriter Christine Tarquinio's first new music of 2024 is 'All Angles', a song about finding the positives in a world often filled with negative energy.
A raw, unflinchingly emotive song purging a range of feelings related to presenting a brave face amid inner turmoil, 'All Angles' is Tarquinio's follow-up release to her 2023 EP 'Silhouette'. Nestled within an indie pop landscape that branches out into melodic folk 'All Angles' is built around an impassioned frame of powerful lyrics detailing the nurturing, protective role as a mother.
"'All Angles' was a song inspired out of love, hope, family and positivity in a world when sometimes this can be tested and this song delves into my perspective of how I fiercely protect the precious people in my life," shares Christine.
Ahead of the song's release tomorrow (29 February), scenestr is thrilled to premiere 'All Angles' today. Enjoy.
Produced, mixed and mastered by Daniel Nieberg, 'All Angles' reaches into the profound sense of presence required to defend one's family when it matters most, delivering a powerful and relatable narrative.
"The recording process was the first time I have done a completely remote recording where my producer was actually in a different country," Christine says.
"I was surprised at how easy it was to do. It was actually less pressure too as I could sing my vocals in my own time in my own way. I will definitely be open to doing remote recording again for future music releases."
