Melbourne producer/ MC, Charchi returns tomorrow (30 November) with his newest single 'GO'.
Hypnotic, squelchy beats are soldered to melodic raps with a backbone of new-wave Australian hip hop. "I wanted to keep 'GO' simple and have some fun with the melodies," Charchi says.
"[It's] more about the mood rather than going deep on bars. "[It's] influenced by a lot of the stuff coming out of melodic rap/ R&B space."
The song deals with the infatuation of a girl and the financial burdens that come with spending a night out clubbing. "The track is centred around a girl I'm infatuated with and the excessiveness that comes with a big night out."
Charchi raps: 'Kick it kick it wit me glow up / Keep it classy like she Cleopatra / She expensive Bottega Veneta / Kick it swiftly like I'm Maradonna, go.'
