Inspired by the sounds of Billie Ellish and BANKS, Brisbane-based bedroom producer-musician ARCVDIA – pronounced ar-cay-dia – showcases her vulnerable side with new single 'Out Of My Mind'.
Known for her acoustic, folk vibes, 'Out Of My Mind' is a creative step in a new direction for ARCVDIA as she expresses her own emotional journey of relationship heartache with a melancholic soundscape drenched in golden tinges of synths and velvety-raw vocals."This song is about coming to terms with the end of close relationships," begins ARCVDIA, "how some people have such a hold over you that, although they hurt you over and over again, and you know that the best thing to do is walk away, you can't seem to let go of them."
A song she wrote and produced herself, ahead of the release on Friday (19 February), scenestr is stoked to premiere 'Out Of My Mind' today. Enjoy.
"I wrote this song during a time where I kept allowing myself to get hurt, but couldn't walk away from these relationships, and I couldn't understand why," adds ARCVDIA.
"This song was a way for me to express how I was feeling, and it helped me realise that it was time to walk away in order to allow myself to move on and heal."
