Newcomers to the electronic pop scene, Sydney's Nasiika have already managed to collaborate with Jessie J, Kyle Minogue and Delta Goodrem.
Today they allow scenestr to premiere their new single, 'Time Is Running Out', featuring 'The Voice' contestant Mikaela Dean.
The track was mastered by Ben Faggens, whose discography includes working with Chet Faker, Flume and RÜFÜS. “Dance/ electronic music has become pop and there's no reason it can't be pushed to its boundaries. So that's kinda how it came about.
"We both felt the need to get the ball rolling, not waste time and start getting our music out into the airwaves. Maybe that's why it felt appropriate for the first release to be called ‘Time Is Running Out."
Nasiika's mission is 'to take the audience on a hyper-sensual experience, delivering deep-house grooves and infectious, pop hooks that will have you cutting shapes on the dancefloor'.
