Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

US-based, Barack Obama-endorsed singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad will head to Australia next month to perform his third studio album ‘The Way That Lovers Do’ for Australian audiences for the first time.

‘The Way That Lovers Do’ was recorded at Seattle’s secluded Bear Creek Studio, with producer Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Vance Joy).

In 2020, Prateek made history when he became the first solo Indian artist to join Elektra Records. This coincided with the re-release of his 2018 EP ‘cold / mess’. Former President Barack Obama featured the title track on his 2019 Songs Of The Year playlist.

His debut album ‘In Tokens And Charms’ earned him an MTV Europe Music Award, won him iTunes’ Indie Album Of The Year, and the title of Best Pop Artist at the Radio City Freedom Awards.

Prateek has sold out auditoriums and amphitheatres across India, and he’s opened for acts like Alt-J and Mike Posner, as well as embarking on headline and festival tours worldwide.

“Australia! Finally so happy to announce the last leg of the ‘The Way That Lovers Do’ Tour in your country!” Prateek says on Instagram. “Can’t wait to see you all in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Let’s goooo!”

Tickets are on sale now.
