Multi-platinum artist Post Malone will return to Australia next year with a massive national arena tour.
The Dallas native lands on our shores next April and May with a blend of hip hop, R&B and alternative he's mixed into his own sonic 'sauce'.
“I describe what I do as sauce,” Post expains.
“You can turn up to it. You can chill to it. You can do anything to it. It makes you feel some type of way, or it makes you want to party. It just comes naturally. I wanted to create something everybody can get down to and get drunk to. People who like hip-hop will like it. People who like folk will dig it. People who like pop will be into it.”
Growing up on his father's collection of Metallica, Johnny Cash, UGK and The Notorious BIG records, Post picked up the electric guitar at age eleven and released his first mixtape after graduating high school.
One day, Post created the beat for 'White Iverson' in his bedroom, laid down the vocals, and uploaded it to Soundcloud - the response proved overwhelming. Before he knew it, the budding star had Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller tweeting him, Complex, Noisey, The Fader, and Hypebeast singing his praises plus 14 SXSW performances under his belt and major labels knocking at his door.
His 2016 full-length debut album 'Stoney' was RIAA double-platinum certified and earnt him the title of 'number one debut hip hop artist of 2016', and he released his second album 'Beerbongs & Bentleys' in April 2018.
