Port Royal Street Party Time

Port Melbourne's Fennell Street will host the inaugural Port Royal Street Party on Saturday January 18.

Thanks to the City of Port Phillip, the party will centre around an outdoor stage and a line-up of local bands headlined by Cosmic Psychos.

Billed as a day of great live music, food, booze and shenanigans, the real headliners might just be Milton Bay Brewery, who'll be rolling out the kegs and pouring delicious (and cheap) beers that they brew on site, and the Salford Lads Club, who'll be cooking up tasty treats all day.

Hair wranglers Uncle Rocco's Barber Shop will also be in attendance, chopping away for any hirsute gents who've let themselves go over the Xmas break.

Fennell Street is a breezy 15 minute bike ride from the city, and just a 10 minute stroll from North Port if you get the 109. There'll be bike racks set up for those who choose to ride.
