Poppy

Subversive performance artist and GRAMMY-nominated metal singer-songwriter Poppy will bring her ‘Constantly Nowhere’ headline tour to Australia in January.

From performance art provocateur, to video director, to sci-fi graphic novel author, to a globe-travelling recording artist, Poppy has explored everything from brutal metal breakdowns to snappy ‘60s bubblegum, to trap-pop, to grunge-punk. Nothing has been off limits across her career.

An insatiably inventive drive has fuelled Poppy’s surrealistic rise through countless corners of the arts and music worlds – each of her projects revealing a different glimpse of a true visionary unconcerned with genre, unimpressed by convention, and defying expectations.

Last week, Poppy released her new single ‘Unravel’ – her first solo release since last year’s critically acclaimed album ‘Negative Spaces’. The single is Poppy at her most vulnerable, fusing haunting vocals and intimate lyrics, culminating in a high-octane, passionate chorus.

With each new release, Poppy cements herself as a boundary-pushing artists, paving her own lane.

Poppy’s tour will kick off in Brisbane, before heading to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Fremantle.

Tickets on sale 31 October.
