Pond Return With The Industrial-Punk Banger 'Pink Lunettes'

Pond have released a new track titled 'Pink Lunettes'.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Not seen with new music since they dropped the super-impressive 'Tasmania' album in 2019, Fremantle indie lords Pond are back with new single 'Pink Lunettes'.

A frenetic, pulsating, electronic-fused industrial-punk banger, 'Pink Lunettes' sounds like Radiohead mashed together with the energy of The Prodigy and Justice, with a touch of the French house magic of Cassius.

"I think we managed to jitter along the neon tightrope between totally unhinged, strobing spontaneity and focused forward momentum," frontman Nick Allbook says of the new track.

Pond will celebrate the new release with a quartet of WA shows in April; headline performances in Margaret River and Bunbury, followed by support gigs with Methyl Ethel in Perth. Tickets on sale now.
