Australia's own guitar wizard, Plini will return to stages across the country this summer intent on melting faces across seven concerts.
To be joined by Canadian prog metallers Protest The Hero and Melbourne's I Built The Sky, Plini and his band will headline shows in Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth from late January."We started booking this tour about one minute after we finally got to do the triple-postponed headline tour last May," shares Plini. "The excitement for playing gigs again is back in full swing.
"Super stoked to have one of my all-time favourite bands (Protest The Hero) joining us; as well bestie Dave Mackay from the UK joining my band on keys for the tour.
"If there are any notes left to be played at the end of the night, we will have failed."
After two years of nothing 'cause of you know what, 2022 has been an incredibly busy year for Plini that has seen him sell-out back-to-back tours of Australia, tour India and Scandinavia as well as making festival appearances in the UK, Germany and Portugal; oh, and he supported Northlane on their Oz tour.
Plini has also released a sample of what punters can expect when the tour kicks off, releasing a live music video of 'Papelillo', which was filmed in June at Sydney's Enmore Theatre.
Tickets on sale from 9am EDT on 21 October.
