Acclaimed alternative multi-instrumentalist and singer, PJ Harvey returns to Australia in 2025 – her first live dates down under in eight years.
Renowned for her collaborations with the likes of Thom Yorke, Nick Cave, Tricky, Sparklehorse and Josh Homme alongside two Mercury Prize wins (the only artist to receive multiple Mercury wins), PJ Harvey will headline concerts in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane as well as appearing at WOMADelaide and Golden Plains Festival.PJ's live band features long-time collaborator John Parish as well as James Johnston, Jean-Marc Butty and Giovanni Ferrario; they received 5-star reviews in late 2023 across the UK and Europe, and then again across a string of 2024 European summer festival headline performances.
With a back catalogue that includes such hits as 'Down By The River', 'This Mess We're In' and 'Good Fortune', Harvey's career has seen her nominated for eight Brit Awards and Grammy Awards apiece.
PJ's most recent studio album was 2023's 'I Inside The Old Year Dying' (her first long player since 2016's 'The Hope Six Demolition Project'); it features the title track as well as 'A Child's Question, August'.
Supporting Harvey in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane will be guitarist and founding member of Dirty Three, Mick Turner who'll be playing rare solo performances.
