TikTok personality and indie emo-rocker, Petey will make his Australian live debut this summer.
With Blink-182's Mark Hoppus a huge Petey fan, Aussie fans can get up close with the Chicago-bred, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter in Melbourne, Fremantle, Brisbane and Sydney next February. After amassing 1.5 million TikTok followers during the pandemic with his skits, Petey parlayed his newfound fame to reignite his music career (he released a couple of EPs as 90 Pounds Of Pete: 2012, 2016).
He's released three studio albums during the last three years, 'USA' being his most recent LP which landed in September. Petey's biggest hits to date include 'Don't Tell The Boys', 'Haircut' and 'Lean Into Life', plus 'USA' cut 'I'll Wait'.
"Recording 'USA' was the most fun I've ever had (working)," Petey posted when 'USA' was released.
"I'm so stoked on how it turned out and that's because of John DeBold and Aidan Spiro. They are so insanely dialled (beyond belief) and amazing and it was just the best.
"I couldn't have asked for a better producer situation. Now we are all best friends, which is so great when that happens. We had a blast!"
Tickets on sale from 10am (local time) on 3 November.
