The ultimate music holiday is on its way – in the form of Airlie Beach Festival Of Music.
Airlie Beach Festival Of Music is set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Great Barrier Reef, and has unveiled its full line-up for 2025.
This November, be prepared to immerse yourself in three days filled with world-class live music across 15 venues.
The festival is set to ring in the start of the warmer months, with a bunch of music icons who have filled stadiums and soundtracked generations set to take over Whitsunday Sailing Club and beyond with the sweet sounds of their boundless talents.
The music isn’t staying in one spot, by the way. . . With the entire town of Airlie Beach becoming one giant stage including cafes and bars all over the place.
The first line-up featured the likes of Jessica Mauboy, The Screaming Jets, Choirboys, Diesel, The Black Sorrows, and Bachelor Girl. . . And now, joining them, are Pete Murray – one of Australia’s most enduring singer-songwriters – the iconic Tex Perkins, who has played with The Beasts, The Cruel Sea, and the Dark Horses. . . Festival fave Matty Rogers, long-time favourite and genre-defying talent David Flower. . . formidable bluesman Zed Charles, and plenty more.
“This isn't just about the main stage; it's about discovering incredible music in intimate settings, enjoying fresh seafood with ocean views, and letting the laid-back Airlie Beach atmosphere wash over you. It's more than a festival; it's your ultimate music holiday,” Festival Founder Gavin Butlin says.
Along with the full line-up is Passport To Airlie, a platform offering emerging talent career-defining prizes and the chance to perform at one of the country’s most iconic destination festivals. This year, intake events will take place in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Newcastle and Melbourne.
