Set to release his very first greatest hits compilation, titled 'Best Of', in May, Aussie troubadour Pete Murray will tour nationally this winter.
Pete and his band will headline concerts in Melbourne, Wollongong, Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin, Perth and Adelaide throughout July and early August."What an 'opportunity' to hit the road on my Greatest Hits tour later this year," enthuses Pete. "This will be 'so beautiful' to play all the classics and there is going to be 'better days' ahead when this happens for sure. . . haha.
"But seriously, I'm so looking forward to sharing my career's music with all of you around the world. It's going to be really special."
To be released 17 May on CD as well as limited edition purple vinyl (pre-order it), 'Best Of' is a 12-track compilation of Pete's best moments from his back catalogue across seven LPs and two EPs including his three global hits: 'Better Days', 'Opportunity' and 'So Beautiful'.
With his first three albums all landing #1 on the Australian music charts, Murray has also collected 17 ARIA nominations throughout his career; his most recent being for Best Adult Contemporary Album for his newest record, 2017's 'Camacho'.
