One of Australia's most beloved singer-songwriters, Paul Kelly will tour Australia next year with a six-date run August-September – incredibly, his biggest local shows to date.
With an endless stream of iconic Aussie sing-alongs – 'To Her Door', 'Dumb Things', 'Before Too Long', 'How To Make Gravy', 'From Little Thugs Big Things Grow', 'Leaps And Bounds', and 'From St. Kilda To Kings Cross' to name but a few – Kelly will headline concerts in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Hobart, Adelaide and Melbourne. The iconic artist will be joined by Americana, folk, alt. country American musician – and a six-time Grammy Award winner – Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit ('If We Were Vampires', 'Last Of My Kind'), two-time ARIA Award and nine-time Golden Guitar winner Fanny Lumsden ('Roll On', 'Fierce', 'Dig') and New Zealand folk, art-pop and indie rock artist Reb Fountain ('Don't You Know Who I Am', 'Faster').
The lives dates, his only Australian shows of 2025, arrive in the shadow of Kelly's new studio album, 'Fever Longing Still', which arrives 1 November (pre-order it) led by the single 'Taught By Experts'. It's Kelly's first album of original material since 2018's 'Nature'.
"The songs on this record are all love songs, all different kinds of love," shares Paul. "There's even a love song to sleep! Our aim was to make each song its own world, so you hear all the different colours of the band."
Tickets on sale from 3pm (local time) on 30 October.
