Australian metalcore legends, Parkway Drive are adding another notch to their already impressive resume with a once in a lifetime experience event.
The Byron Bay surf-rats turned global festival headliners are going top-shelf by reimagining their live performance accompanied by a complete symphonic orchestra set against one of Australia's most iconic backdrops – Sydney Opera House. This June, Winston McCall and the rest of the Parkway Drive gang will shower the Sydney harbour with their dark yet ethereal heavy metal tones, the bucket list concert to be immortalised as part of the band's forthcoming feature documentary and live album, 'Home'.
The project will celebrate the band's 20-year creative journey that has led to world domination, from the shores of coastal New South Wales to one of the most renowned music venues in the world, the Concert Hall at the Opera House.

"For over two decades, we have carried our home in our hearts as we roamed around the world," shares Winston. "Australia has made us; from the dirt to the sky, it is who we are.
"So, it is with open arms that we present to you this iconic event: Parkway Drive as you have never seen or heard it, with a full symphonic orchestra, performed at the most iconic building in the land – the Sydney Opera House.
"One night, one show, one band. Please join us for a black-tie celebration of the place we call home."
This is no denying Parkway Drive's legendary status: 3x ARIA Award wins, 3x #1 ARIA Album debuts, 6x ARIA Gold-certified albums, millions of streams, hundreds of millions of YouTube views, and a prodigious global fanbase.
Parkway Drive's back catalogue spans a horde of stylistic exploration and ingenuity; from the dexterous metalcore witnessed on 2007's 'Horizons', through to the ground-breaking dynamics of 2010's 'Deep Blue', the boundary-breaking evolution show on 2015's 'Ire', the melodic rawness of 2018's 'Reverence' and, most recently, the arena-ready and multifaceted masterpiece that was 2022's 'Darker Still'.
Find out why we labelled Parkway Drive's 20th anniversary Melbourne concert: 'This was not just a concert – it was an experience,' when Parkway Drive with full symphonic orchestra play Sydney Opera House on 9 June.
