Australian metalcore legends, Parkway Drive will return home for their biggest national yet celebrating their 20th anniversary as a band.
The three-time ARIA Award winners with an arsenal that includes such sonic weapons as 'Prey', 'Vice Grip', 'Carrion', 'The Void' and 'Wild Eyes' will also debut their new live production, christening it in their own backyard with concerts planned in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth this September.Parkway Drive are also bringing along a trio of headline-worthy support acts including a pair of American veterans, post-hardcore pop punks I Prevail and melodic metalcore warriors The Ghost Inside as well as Melbourne metalcore stalwarts Void Of Vision.
"Australia, it's been a while. To be honest, it feels like forever," shares Parkway Drive's Winston McCall. "We didn't plan it to be this way, but then again we didn't plan on making it this far in the first place.
"So here it is, we're finally back, with the biggest headlining tour we have done, anywhere, ever, full stop. A celebration of a 20-year journey, of the roads we have walked through, the generations, to the path we still define, our own.
"Twenty years, through blood sweat and tears. Still Australian, still unbreakable. Australia, turn the f... up and make us proud, this is one for the history books."
