Pantera & Disturbed Headline Knotfest Australia's 2024 Line-up

After its inaugural, sold-out run in 2023, Knotfest returns to Australia in 2024 headlined by two of the biggest names in heavy music.

Set to land in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in March, heavy groove behemoths Pantera will finally return to Australia for the first time in nearly 30 years (they last visited in 1996), the reformed group featuring Rex Brown and Phil Anselmo alongside touring members Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante. Pantera toured Europe earlier this year (for the first time since 2000) and have appeared at select dates on Metallica's M72 World Tour.

Heavy metal hard rockers Disturbed will co-headline Knotfest Australia alongside Pantera, the Chicago natives have had five consecutive #1 album debuts on the Billboard Top 200 (which places them alongside Metallica to achieve such a feat). Disturbed's most recent studio album was 2022's Divisive', which features 'Hey You' and 'Unstoppable'.

American heavy metal merchants Lamb Of God also join the Knotfest Australia 2024 bill, the band releasing their 11th studio album 'Omens' last year; it features 'Nevermore' and 'Ditch'. American rockers Halestorm will also be part of Knotfest Australia in 2024, and also arrive with a 2022 album to promote, 'Back From The Dead' (that also features 'The Steeple' and 'Wicked Ways').

Mongolian folk-metal band The Hu are also headed to Knotfest Australia as are English rockers Asking Alexandria, Florida metalcore mainstays Wage War, and post-hardcore emos Escape The Fate (who recently released their new album 'Out Of The Shadows').

Australian deathcore outfit Thy Art Is Murder will dial up the noise as will Welsh heavy metal fusion masters Skindred, Sydney-based hardcore group Speed and Melbourne metalcore mavericks Windwaker.



The Knotfest party will also welcome Canadian deathcore group Brand Of Sacrifice and Melbourne grindcore experts King Parrot.

Knotfest Australia will debut the revamped Knotfet Museum celebrating Slipknot's 25-year career featuring a jaw-dropping collection that played a pivotal role through the band's storied journey.

Tickets on sale from 9am (local time) on 23 November.
