Overtone is awakened in October, bringing with it a stellar line-up of electronic acts. It’s awakened in Musgrave Park, at a time when the warmth of spring is hitting and the natural green fields are the perfect backdrop for a day of music.
The festival will feature a striking set from Four Tet – off the back of releasing the double-GRAMMY-nominated album ‘Three’ and closing out Coachella with Skrillex and Fred Again. Four Tet has influenced thousands of artists, songwriters and producers within electronic music and beyond.
Plus, Aussie duo X CLUB, set to bring their raw, high-impact sound and energy to the green. They’re fresh from a sold-out show at Carriageworks and Boiler Room, and have become global reps for Australian electronic music.
Joining Four Tet and X CLUB. is producer and composer Floating Points (Sam Shepherd), whose sound moves from club, to experimental electronica, to jazz, to classical. He’s sure to deliver an electrifying DJ set.
These three headliners will share the stage throughout the day with electronic producer and DJ Skee Mask, Miami duo INVT, the vibrant WOLTERS, staple Aussie duo IN2STELLAR, indie-house GRAMMY Award nominee 1tbsp, hot Sydney DJ and producer Fukhed, and the energetic Supergloss.
Overtone is set to usher in a new era of electronic music experiences – a high-energy, euphoric gathering spotlighting talent from homegrown and global stages.
