Olivia Dean has claimed the top spot in Triple J’s 2025 Hottest 100, with Man I Need crowned the most-voted track of the year.

A slow-burn soul-pop standout, Man I Need won over voters with its warm groove, intimate lyrics and effortless cool — a track that felt equally at home on late-night playlists as it did blasting from festival speakers. Dean’s victory capped off a huge year, with multiple songs peppered throughout the countdown.
