Australian singer-songwriter Odette – who recently released her sophomore album 'Herald', the follow-up to her highly-successful 2018 debut album 'To A Stranger' – will return to the road for a 13-date national tour May-June 2021.
While 'To A Stranger' introduced us to the hyper-emotive lyricism of Odette (Georgia Odette Sallybanks) on 'Herald', Odette has once again parlayed her emotional turmoil and existential suffering into a work of art."Music is the only way we can make sense of the world and ourselves," Odette recently told us.
"This album is sort of a nuanced discussion of the positives and the negatives of mental illness and also just being a human being.
"It talks about the realities of hurting others, the consequences of that, and even more so, it holds me accountable – it holds me to my word."
Odette will visit all major capital cities plus regional appearances in Hobart, Ballarat, Byron Bay, Gold Coast, Newcastle and Wollongong. Tickets on sale now.
