Regional WA boutique music festival, Here Comes The Sun returns to Margaret River in 2024 as well as expanding east for its inaugural Torquay event in Victoria.
Now in its fifth year, and from the same team who presents Out Of The Woods, Good Day Sunshine and Sugarloaf Rock, Here Comes The Sun has become a staple of WA's festival scene having staged seven events in the South West with the likes of Tame Impala, Amy Shark, Crooked Colours, and ShockOne performing.In 2024, psychedelic rockers Ocean Alley ('Confidence', 'Yellow Mellow', 'Knees') will headline, joined by fellow festival favourites Ball Park Music ('It's Nice To Be Alive', 'Cherub', 'Exactly How You Are').
"We're stoked to be playing Here Comes The Sun Festival in Margaret River and Torquay in March & April next year. We'll only be playing a handful of shows at home in Australia in 2024," shares Ocean Alley.
Here Comes The Sun will also welcome indie rock musician Ruby Fields ('Dinosaurs', 'P Plates'), pop singer-songwriter Jack Botts ('Home Top You', 'Gypsy'), Perth rockers South Summit ('River Days'), and sister indie duo CLEWS ('Lean Across', 'Museum').
"Yooooo Torquay and Margaret River! Stoked to be playing Here Comes The Sun festival next year. Some of my fave places in the world to visit and play," Jack Botts says.
Both of the 2024 festivals will align respectively with the staging of two of Australia's biggest surfing competitions: the World Surf League Margaret River Pro, and the Bells Pro in Torquay.
