ARIA Award-winning outfit Northlane will next month release a digital album of live recordings from their 2017 shows.
On the night of the album release (16 March), the band will play a special, one-off show in Sydney. The band’s performances on the new release, ‘Analog Future’, incorporate songs from all four of their full-length releases.
The ten tracks were recorded in six countries - from Australia to Argentina - proof of the massive expanse Northlane’s influence has grown since the release of their first EP in 2010. “Since Northlane formed, we have never been able to capture the rawness, energy and sound of our live show in a recording, until now,” the band’s guitarist Josh Smith says.

“'Analog Future' is the product of the 'Mesmer' touring cycle. Every show was recorded and we handpicked ten songs, performed around the world, for this release.”
While the lads are headed overseas for festival appearances later in the year, the Sydney show at UNSW Roundhouse will be the last opportunity for Australian audiences to catch Northlane live for some time. “March 16 will also mark our last Australian concert for the year, and foreseeable future,” Josh says.
