The South Australian Music Awards are an annual award ceremony and celebration of the South Australian music industry.
The 2024 event will be held this November at the Dom Polski Centre, and bands, artists and other music businesses can nominate themselves. You can also nominate someone you’d love to see recognised for their hard work in the South Australian music industry.
There will be 33 awards in the 2024 event – including a brand-new Best Live Music Photograph award. Every award is either People’s Choice (voted on by the general public and including the categories of 12 genres) and Industry Voted (judged by an independent panel of local and national judges).

Applicants must have released the entered work, or completed the entered activity, between 1 August, 2023 and 1 August, 2024. Plus, applicants must have spent at least nine months of the last twelve living in South Australia, and all entered works must be original compositions.
