Update - 16 April, 2026: Noah has added a fourth concert each in Melbourne and Sydney. Scroll down for the details.

American singer-songwriter Noah Kahan returns to Australia in 2026.

The 'Stick Season' and 'Northern Attitude' hitmaker will headline concerts (two per city) in Melbourne and Sydney this September-October.

"Australia, we are coming to bring you great sadness and reflection. The Great Divide world tour is heading overseas," posted the Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter.

Joining the tour as the main support act will be alternative Americana singer-songwriter Michael Marcagi ('Scared To Start', 'The Other Side'), who recently released his debut album 'Under The Streetlights'.

Later this month, Noah will release his fourth studio album, 'The Great Divide' (out 24 April; pre-order it), which was produced with The National's Aaron Dessner (Taylor Swift, Bon Iver) and Kopecky's Gabe Simon (Dua Lipa, Lana Del Rey).

"From a long silence forms a divide, a great expanse demanding attention," posted Kahan. "I stare across it. I see old friends, my father, my mother, my siblings, my younger self, the great state of Vermont.

"I want to scream these feelings, to gesticulate wildly at the figures on the other side, but my voice has grown hoarse and muted after years of climbing a ladder towards the wild, spiralling dreams that have materialised in front of me.

"Instead, I wrote them down next to a piano in Nashville, next to a pond in Guilford, Vermont, in a legendary studio in upstate New York, on a farm with a fire-tower in Only, Tennessee.

"The songs are the words I would say if I could. They are the fears I dance with in the moments before I drift off to sleep.

"The music here is my best attempt to delve deeper into the people, places, and feelings that have made me who I am. I am grateful for all of it, for all of you, for listening to them, if you choose to do so."

Next week, Noah's Netflix documentary 'Out Of Body' drops. It's a film that follows the singer-songwriter's rise to global stardom, focusing on his Stick Season tour, his return to Vermont, and his personal struggles with mental health and body dysmorphia.

"My life was filmed for a year and a half. It was weird, difficult, and genuinely beautiful to experience. I'm excited for you guys to see it too," admits Noah.

"This documentary captures so much more than I ever thought the world would see about myself, my creative journey and my family. I am nervous about it because it's personal and some things I touch on are painful to think about and be reminded of.

"I remember though that anything scary or hard is usually worth sharing with the world. Maybe it will reach one of you in a time when you need it. Maybe you'll see some of your own family in mine. Either way, I hope you love it."

Tickets on sale from 1pm AEST on 17 April.
