Just a couple of months after the release of their debut album, 'Islands Part 1', Melbourne electronic minimalist group No Mono return with a new single and an extended Australian tour.
'Fever Highs' is an intense, gritty track, a contrast to the minimalist feel of 'Islands Part 1'.
The duo, consisting of established artists Tom Snowdon (Lowlakes) and Tom Iansek (Big Scary), released their first single, 'Butterflies', in September 2017. “We wrote ‘Fever Highs’ when working on music for our debut offerings,” Tom Snowdon says.
“It's the other side of this project, a stark vibe with real gritty energy that is a big part of our live show and contrasts with the more introspective stories and atmospheres on '...Part 1' that are so intimate and sparse.”
This is the second time the two Toms have collaborated, having already worked together on Iansek's project #1 Dads.
Despite forming less than a year ago, No Mono have already played the Sydney Opera House as part of VIVID LIVE. The pair are also billed to play Splendour later this month.
No Mono will be touring in late August through to mid-September. Click here for ticket information.
