Following the likes of Bruce Springsteen (who covered 'Royals' in New Zealand) and CHVRCHES (who covered 'Team' for the BBC), Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic has become the latest luminary to put their spin on Lorde. It might be time for a moratorium.
Novoselic unleashed his take on 'Royals' on Sunday March 9 at a FairVote benefit in Takoma Park, Maryland. Well, 'unleashed' probably isn't the right word — it's actually a pretty chilled instrumental cover, showcasing Novoselic's accordion skills. If you're expecting grunge, you're going to be disappointed.
