Esteemed Australian performers and musicians, Nick Cave and Warren Ellis will commence their Australian Carnage tour (that is still to be announced) with two concerts at the iconic Hanging Rock in Victoria.
The first time the pair have performed together in Australia in three years, these shows (25-26 November) come off the back of Cave and Ellis' 2021 album 'Carnage' – the first album of songs the pair have released together – and will feature special guest Courtney Barnett on both nights.Although 'Carnage' is the pair's first album released together, Ellis is a long-term member of Cave's band The Bad Seeds, the duo also previously collaborating as Grinderman and composing on many soundtracks together since first meeting in 1993 when Ellis contributed violin parts on The Bad Seeds album 'Let Love In'.
Currently on tour in North America, tickets to the Hanging Rock concerts go on sale from 12pm (local time) on 17 March.
