Nick Cave 2024 Australia Tour

A living treasure, Nick Cave returns to Australia in 2024 for a limited run of super-rare solo appearances.

To be accompanied by Radiohead's Colin Greenwood on bass guitar, Cave will headline two performances apiece in Melbourne and Sydney next April.

"I cannot wait to bring this special show to Australia next year, accompanied by the great Colin Greenwood," Nick says.

"It is a privilege to share the songs with an audience in this way – stripped back and unadorned, revealing their essential nature."

Cave and Greenwood toured North America earlier this year, captivating audiences with spirited renditions of Cave's extensive and enduring catalogue.

Last month, Nick posted the following message to his Instagram: "I am packing ready to leave Los Angeles today, then heading to Buffalo to mix the new Bad Seeds album, but I just wanted to tell you what an immense pleasure the North American tour has been.

"Anyone who was at the shows will understand what a knife-edge, pin-drop affair it was, as we stripped the songs back to reveal their essential nature. It was a unique and adventuring journey and I want to thank everyone who so willingly came along for the ride.

"Unadorned and unsettling as the songs were at times, it was a great personal privilege to play them for you and to share this very special experience."



Nick last toured Australia in late 2022 with Warren Ellis, taking their 2021 album 'Carnage' on the road, along with songs from the Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds catalogue. That tour's three performances at the Sydney Opera House were captured for Cave's new live album, 'Australian Carnage - Live At The Sydney Opera House'.
